Nita Surathu is a hands-on Health IT architect involved in the architecture, design, and implementation of health IT systems for the Department of Health Services. Over the years, she has worked on disease surveillance & case management applications, electronic lab reporting and case reporting systems, meaningful use onboarding tools, pandemic vaccine management system.
Nita has served in CDC user groups for electronic immunization reporting and lab reporting. She believes in collaborating with the Health Information Exchange for cutting edge health interoperability.
Nita has a Masters degree in Computer Science and is PMP, HL7 and Rhapsody certified.
